Born from a love of food, good conversation, and meeting like-minded people, we started out with a simple idea: sharing hearty meals and meaningful chats around a dinner table. In a world where screens often keep us apart, we wanted to create a space where the Toronto community could connect in a more authentic, personal setting.
Hence, Bon Vivant was born:
We aim to bring people together for genuine conversations—or just some good old-fashioned fun—all while treating your taste buds to something special. In collaboration with different local vendors, small businesses, restaurants and venues, we co-curate dinner parties showcasing innovative menus in beautiful settings, all in the heart of Toronto.
At Bon Vivant, you can count on good food, good mood, and good people. Escape the usual hustle & bustle of Toronto and enjoy an evening dining with strangers and leaving as friends, already looking forward to our next dinner party.

We’re Lauren & Gabs, the hosts and founders of Bon Vivant. We’re passionate about dinner parties, and we hope you are too.
Friends for years, we’ve bonded over our love of hosting, our passion for good food, and our desire to build community.
What started out as fun dinner parties with our closest friends has now evolved into curated events where strangers are welcome. We wanted to create a space where people could come together to share their love of good food, to make genuine connections with like-minded people and enjoy unique evenings that aren’t just your typical Friday night out.
